Vibe Care+ 5-Year Extended Warranty
Terms and Conditions (Australia)
1. Consumer Guarantees (ACL)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits provided by Vibe Care+ are in addition to the rights and remedies available to you under the ACL.
2. Period of Cover
The Vibe Care+ protection plan commences on the date of delivery and expires exactly five (5) years from that date.
3. What is Covered (Structural & Mechanical)
This warranty applies exclusively to the structural integrity of the furniture under normal domestic use. We will cover:
- Frames: Any breakage or warping of the internal solid wood or metal frame.
- Suspension: Failure of the zig-zag springs, webbing, or coil systems.
- Mechanical Components: Failure of electric motors, wiring, manual recliner triggers, and headrest mechanisms.
- Stitching: Separation of seams on main body upholstery (excluding zips).
- 4. What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
Vibe Care+ is a structural warranty, not an insurance policy for accidents. The following are strictly excluded:
* Accidental Damage: Spills, stains (wine, food, ink), burns, cuts, or punctures.
* Pet Damage: Any damage caused by animals, including claws, chewing, or bodily fluids.
* Normal Wear & Tear: Fabric pilling, fading due to sunlight, softening of foam/cushioning, or minor creasing of leather.
* Improper Maintenance: Use of harsh chemicals, steam cleaning, or failure to follow care instructions.
* Commercial Use: Furniture used in offices, rentals, or high-traffic commercial environments.
5. Claim Limits
* The maximum value of any claim or series of claims is limited to the original purchase price of the furniture.
* If a repair is not possible, Vibe Care will offer a replacement of the same or a similar model. If the model is discontinued, a store credit for the original value will be issued.
6. The Claim Process
To initiate a claim, the customer must:
* Notify: Submit a claim via the Vibe Care online form within 14 days of noticing the defect.
* Evidence: Provide clear photos of the defect, the whole sofa, and the Law Label (batch tag).
* Access: Allow an authorized Vibe Care technician to inspect the furniture at the original delivery address.
7. Transferability
This warranty is registered to the original purchaser and the original delivery address. It is not transferable to a new owner if the item is sold second-hand.
